Responsive Objects, Surfaces and Spaces (ROSS) is a Georgia Tech research program which provides an innovative and cross-disciplinary perspective on physical-virtual codesign, bridging technology research and development, traditional product design and the sociocultural context of digital media technologies.

ROSS Workshop

The ROSS 2008 Workshop is a by-invitation event that will focus on the theme of Community & ROSS, engaging dialogues on the rapidly growing research trends that are pushing computing beyond the desktop into new physical and social contexts. The workshop will explore aspects of Community & ROSS across the following areas: shared environment, shared play, shared performance and shared knowledge. The expected outcomes include project ideas and funding proposals that would engage participating faculty and researchers in shared efforts that relate to ROSS. Posters resulting from break-out group discussions will be showcased as posters during Digital Media Demo Day on Wednesday April 30.
